love a good logo!

I knew I wanted to be a graphic designer before I had ever heard the term. I remember saying I want to be a “logo-ist” as a twelve year old. Growing up in a neighborhood full of skate-rats, brands were everything! We had our favorite skateboard brands; we also had the brands we would never be caught dead wearing or skating. I would cut out my favorite spreads in magazines, and try to draw my favorite logos as perfectly as possible. I created my first logo for our fantasy neighborhood skate team while in middle school. It wasn’t until deciding on college that I learned about graphic design, and distinguished the difference between art and design. Now a professional, logo design is just one facet of my designer repertoire.
