Like many businesses during the pandemic, Angry James was forced to adjust to a to-go model without any taproom sales. Only at the beginning of the brewery’s third year, Angry James began canning their beer and distributing to local liquor stores; a big move that wasn’t part of the plan for years to come. Very quickly Angry James 4-packs became some of the most popular selections, and cases are flying off the shelves. Years later, the original black background and simple graphic style has evolved into vibrant and colorful label artwork. Creating unique designs for collaborations between other breweries and businesses has also become an excellent way to connect with the community and even promote non-profit causes.
