Cove & Craft Taproom mural

“Yes. It is going to stay black and white.”

When the fellas down at Cove & Craft asked me about painting a mural in their new taproom location, they trusted me to paint whatever I wanted. Excited by this prospect, I went home and sketched out my final proposal in one sitting. Knowing I should still include Summit County culture, as well as the pizza and beer that they serve, I wanted to build the scene off a few silly characters. The large yeti emerging out of the mountains indulging in cheesy pizza and beer is balanced by Smokey Bear reminding us to “drink local”. Then there are aliens.
